My partner and I have strong opinions about what we like and dislike when it comes to design/ aesthetics and also functionality. Both of them were extremely patient with us and took up the role of a ‘mediator’ when we had conflicting opinions by proposing ideas that fits two sets of requirements. We also appreciate his great customer service. It is so common to come across horror stories of designers who turned into an entirely different person after receiving the initial deposit. It was different for Justin and Loy, they became more proactive in our communication, all the way to the completion of the renovation.

We met a few IDs before finalizing on Cozy Ideas. Among the IDs that we approached, Justin and Loy were really consistent in following up with us. I would safely say that the final outcome is 90% accurate compared to the 3D drawings. Our house turned out to exceed our expectations, thanks to their commendable project management skills and creative designs. Their carpentry work is also excellent, judging from the fact that we had already moved in for slightly more than 6 months.

Loy was generous with her advices and knowledge of what can or cannot be done (and also how we could save money!), was very helpful in assisting us from the start till the end, was attentive to our requirements, and was always accommodating. When friends and families who visited asked about our ID, we would proudly share with them our reno experience and needless to say, would always recommend Loy. They were very patient during the design phase and gave good advise during material and color selection. We especially like the entire kitchen area, along with the sliding door and foldable windows. Don was responsive to onsite requirements and that saved us a lot of trouble. Go to them with the theme you have in mind and trust them to develop it into a beautiful and livable home. For example, we gave them our key inputs being a gray color theme, and a hacked kitchen wall. Upon completion, Cozy Ideas matched both rendering and actual product. Trust Loy to give the coordination of colors, especially how the wood grains impact the feel of the home. Trust Don to give insight on how to make the concept ' livable' and low-maintenance.
